Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS)-related litigation is headed in the direction of becoming one of the most expensive and wide-spread types of environmental litigation in recent years. Alleged polluters with insurance are seeking to transfer the cost of this litigation and damages to their insurers.
