Join a Committee or Section - No additional membership fee
Bench/Bar committees are co-chaired by a Judge and an attorney and are open to MBA members only. These committees provide forums for discussion relating to the courts and a specific practice area, and are a great way to network with judges outside of the courtroom. Other MBA committees help guide the MBA.
 
Sections plan CLE programs and networking events, and collaborate with and encourage attorneys in the practice area to participate. Put your innovative and creative ideas to work.There is no additional fee to join a committee or a section.

Mobile Legal Clinic
The MBA and the MBA Foundation are proud partners of the Milwaukee Justice Center (MJC) and its Mobile Legal Clinic (MLC). The MLC is an innovative program which travels into under-served and marginalized neighborhoods in the Milwaukee and provides brief legal advice to people seeking access to our justice system on issues of civil legal aid. The MLC has cultivated relationships with our community partners to provide the most comprehensive and effective legal guidance for those most lost in our legal system.
 
We have a need for volunteer attorneys. Would you please consider volunteering your time? Each clinic is only two hours in length and count towards CLE credits.

Law Day
Law Day, held annually on May 1, is a national day set aside to celebrate the rule of law. Law Day provides an opportunity to understand how law and the legal process protect our liberty, strive to achieve justice, and contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share.
 
The MBA hosts free legal clinics in locations throughout Milwaukee County, giving access to qualified and licensed attorneys for BRIEF one-on-one legal advice meetings.
