Vapor Intrusion: Existing and Future Liability Considerations – an update regarding the WDNR’s Vapor Intrusion Guidance (RR 800), DERP & Historical Dry Cleaners

WDNR is updating the primary vapor intrusion guidance, RR-800, to include state-of-the-science, revised screening criteria and critical base knowledge for vapor assessments and successful mitigation with long-term protection of health. This presentation will provide an overview of the updates along with an update on the NR 169 Dry Cleaner Environmental Response Program (DERP) and the Fund as well as introduce a new initiative to identify historical dry cleaner locations statewide. The information will assist in evaluating existing and future liability considerations for your clients.
