Arbitration Mythbusters and Best Practices When Drafting Arbitration Clauses and Representing Clients in Arbitration


Presenters:  Svetlana Gitman, Vice President. and Nerissa Diaz Moisan, Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution Services for the Commercial Division,
                      American Arbitration Association

Many clients include arbitration clauses in their contracts because arbitration is meant to be faster and cheaper than litigation. Representatives from the American Arbitration Association will join us to discuss how arbitration is a better option for dispute resolution, especially amidst Covid-19 court backlogs. Our presenters will also debunk common myths about arbitration and provide best practices for drafting effective arbitration clauses as well as representing clients in arbitrations.
