Families First Coronavirus Response Act:  Paid Sick and Family Leave

In response to the evolving COVID-19 crisis Congress passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which among other provisions, requires most employers with fewer than 500 employees to provide paid sick and family leave to employees impacted by COVID-19.  This program will be worthwhile for both practitioners advising clients on the obligations under the law, as well as firm administrators who may now be required to offer and administer these benefits for their employees.
